Manufactured from polymers with a rubberized coating, Viper HD 8x42 weighs 694g, with dimensions of 142x124mm, making it one of the compact devices on the market. Rubber ArmorTec® coating secures the binoculars from physical damage and enhances the grip on the product. The optic is nitrogen purged to prevent fogging of the lenses. It is also rain, weather, and shockproof.
Glass is coated in an XR™ anti-scratch layer that furtherly enhances light transmission. With an 18mm eye relief, 42mm objective lens diameter, 8x magnification, and a 7.8° field of view, Viper HD is a highly very capable optic in its size class.
